Steve, I like the background of the mother's russet coloured coat and the calf just leaps out of that background Great expression of intense effort to get the right sounding 'moo'. I might have mentioned before, but you are getting really nice detail and tone out of the 7D, well done.
Not much more I can say on this one Steve, just gave me a nice chuckle this morning.

This is really nice Steve... I like that the adult bison's body fills the entire background, and the expression of the calf is great.
Like the warm tones of the calf with the darker adult behind.
