Taken at Longwood Gardens. The light was very bright so i tried running a topaz simplify and fractilius filter on it. Keeper?

Bob, this reminds me of an oil pastel...soft, muted colors...the tones of the lily draw your eye into the image nicely, and I like the patterns of the pads in the background. I might tone down the highlights a bit..the gray areas at the tips of the pads...but I'm liking it a lot otherwise. Nice composition...nice filter work...maybe a tighter crop? Bring the bottom up to where the stem starts to show...and then take a little off the top as well? It works well as it is...a pano type view might make it even stronger, but that's a matter of personal taste. Well done!!

I like it as-is. You have created a lovely effect on the flower that does look like a watercolor.

Hi Bob, Overall I like the effect and think that John covered all the points. I also might take out some of the greyish spots along the edges. I looked at John's pano suggestion and liked it...

Lovely rendering. Almost has a stained glass effect.

    Hi Bob,
Some good points covered above. Other than those minor quick fixes I really like the colors & your pp. Nice work!

Very soft and lovely, Bob. I also think a crop from the bottom would work well. Really nice effect!

Bob, I like this with just a crop from the bottom and might tone down the one petal if it were mine. Nice work!
