    Default Cassin's Vireo

I photographed this vireo at a local park back in May.
With the help of audio, I attracted the bird to a bush, but the foliage was very close to the perch...
Fortunately after moving a bit to the left I found a clear opening, giving me a nicer background.
There is still a lot of bush left and right of the bird so I decided to use a 11x8.5 crop.
Let me know if this works for you or if the BG is too distracting.

This is a 60% crop. I desaturated the background and lowered its brightness a bit.

    Thanks,

I like this Luis. I don't mind the foliage at all. Lovely little bird,

Nice and sharp, well lit. The bg is fine with me. Is the end of this birds' bill hooked or is that something else?

    Thanks Jack.
Yes, it's a hooked bill, which I think is characteristic of the vireos.

excellent Luis, has a 3D feel! great details. I would tone down the highlights in the BG a bit

Luis, I love the apparent depth in this image. Definitely agree about the 3D quality.
Nice specie - not on my life list yet.
