    Default Flower Flip

It always takes me about a week to reprogram my brain (I'm spatially concept challenged) so that I can visualize how to pick an image to flip and get it done. (And that's with Denise's tutorial) I finally came up with something that worked - this started out as a light pink camellia that I cut in half, flipped and then flipped again vertically. I used Fract. Glow 100, then duplicated and overlayed onto the original. Then I used Nik Contrast Only and Nik Skylight and finally a pointillize filter blended with soft light.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Well done. I like the soft, diaphanous look of the yellows and whites.

Cheryl, this is exceptional...technically, it's a masterful use of filters and PS technique...visually, I love the flow of line and color...from the almost sea green/blue at the corners, to the muted whites, to the brilliant yellows...the flow of the curves at the outer edges to the star in the middle...nicely envisioned and well done!

Cheryl, The soft color palette is lovely. The flower still comes through and I like that. This is the kind of image I would print. Nicely done.

A beautiful explosion of joy! The blue tints on the outer edges add just the right touch of framing, too. Well done.

Beautiful color. Somehow it makes me think of a soft and flowing sea creature.
