Superb bird! This can't be an easy capture with 500mm = 1.4 TC. I would lighten with PS Levels and crop tighter esp. at top.

Beautiful capture, Michael. Enjoyed seeing you on Hooptie Deux last week. Does it matter what time of day you work Okee or is all in shaded area?

Susan, I was there late afternoon, around 4pm and it was overcast a tad. The feeder faces north so you are going to get side lighting regardless of the time of day.

This area was pretty much shaded by some of the trees. Not sure how the lighting would differ in the a.m. or mid day.

FYI: there were more females out than males. I think I saw only 2 males, but as many as 4 females out at one time.
