    In real life this is the fruit of Alpine Laurel, a lovely small, low growing flower with poisonous leaves. It was abundant in the high altitude area where I camped this past week as a Forest Service Volunteer. I flipped, used topaz cartooned, & soft-looking, then PB, accented edges in PS as well as a final Pinch.

    For me these are strange red flies, perhaps mounted in a slide and viewed under a microscope. Very interesting and different image Nancy, my mind can think of lots of possibilities.
