Chas this is a great looking warbler. I love the singing pose and his colors. There are places on the perch that are a bit bright and the yellow on top of his head and the leaves could be toned down. The bg is very nice.

Like the singing pose and and of course, the BKGR. The perch is a bit bright and--in an ideal world--much too thick for such a delicate bird. The merge of the tail with the single spray of leaves was just bad luck.

I admire that you travel so far and wide each spring to make images of the birds in this family. I have pretty much given up on them :).

Nice BG, pose, and exposure. Good advice from Jack and Artie. I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more room in front if you have it.

    Keep them coming!

Actually I left the leaves in to give some idea of habitat(cottonwood-aspen type trees-mixed forest). Leaves over and around the tail personally do not bother me if the body and head are clear and if you can see the extent of the tail and not just chopped off. That is a personal thing.
The limb is a little overpowering but it was his favorite perch. The brightness of the limb can be changed .
Thanks for all comments and advice.
Art-I hope I can keep on trucking for these jewels because they are sure fun to chase. That's the name of the game--FUN !
