    Kasha,

    You captured this one well, although a higher shutter speed would have produced a sharper picture. The HA is nice, but I am not too fond of the facing wing position, although it shows nice detail. The image seems a large crop and is rather noisy. I would also tone down the bright white spots in the BKGD. You might want to crop a little of the top as well.

    I like the fanned tail feathers. Colors seem a little subdued. I like the idea of removing the bright spots in the BG. Not a lot of light to capture flight; the shutter speed is slow and the bird's body still looks like it was underexposed and then recovered in post processing. I might add a bit of canvas on the bottom and right.

    Picture is back now :). Good suggestions by Clemens and Doug. The position of the near wing almost blocking the face is problematic. ISO 800 or even 1600 with lots of light added to the exposure would likely have improved the results....
