    Default Baird's Sandpiper

I photographed this sandpiper a couple of days ago. They are
rare in the area but this year there have been several reports of them at different locations.

I went to one of the reported locations, a stinky and muddy place at the SF Bay.
I setup the tripod low but not too low, otherwise I would not be able to see its feet behind the mud.
I am not sure if the mud in the foreground is too much of a distraction. Maybe shooting
from a higher angle would have helped with that problem but then the perspective wouldn't be nice.
    What do you think?

I did a 2 degree CW rotation to account for the unleveled tripod and cropped to 60% of the original frame.
The background is the reflection of the hills on the water.

What a nice find and a great capture, Luis! I am fine with the foreground as is and I like the comp. Beautiful detail and nice light.

Another great picture with fantastic IQ. The pose is lovely and I have no problem with the foreground. I love the neutral tones,

Eveything looks good here in terms of exposure and sharpness and the image is very pleasing. I'm a sucker for waders posing with a leg up off the ground but this will do just fine. I might have wished for the birds legs to have been cleaner in appearance though.
