Hi Mitch, I like this the best of your recent flood images. This works for me compositionally along with a nice wingspread. The colors are pleasingly soft and pastel like along with a good use of the flood filter.
It's a strong, simple comp and nicely handled...
Hi Mitch,
Agree with above comments. Like the wingspan in the Skimmer and it's placement in the frame. Also like the drama and colors in the sky. The transition and effect of the flood filter is very nice as well. Good job!
I like this a lot too, the composition and the water and the clouds. Does anyone wish to venture a comment as to why this would not likely be a contest winner in a contest with a Digital Creations category? (The answer is a theme that I have preached here more than a few times...)

Mitch, Beautiful back ground colors and I like the way the flood effect works here. I do wish the eye were more visible and I think maybe a better head angle would have helped that. I do know that skimmer eyes are difficult to see sometimes. I love the detail in the wings. Nice job combining the filters.
Mitch, I like this particular image of your series the best...wonderful color tone and saturation...great detail in the wing feathers...like Denise, I find myself wishing I could see the eye more...clean composition and wonderful execution with the filters. Nicely done.
