Tread slowly and you shall succeed. I like how the spoonbill is angled in the same line as the perch, and the whites look good. Another lovely BG from my favourite location. How many days have you got left there mate?

Thanks folks....Stuart, today is my final work day. I leave for Thornybush on Wednesday! Looking forward to the Spotties calls at night and to see the Lowveld birds again.... Vultures, Eagles and so on. Very excited!

Great pose with really nice soft light . I like the diagonal perch too. One question is the blue area at the shoulder below the wings. I am assuming it is blue on the bird and not a white shadowed area with a blue cast? Thanks for sharing this cool shot.

Lovely light and well exposed. Love the pose in relation to the perch, and the colors all work well together.

This is the nicest spoonie image I have seen in a long time. The whites are exposed to perfection and the diagonal lines really add to this picture. Love it,

A great composition Dumay, diagonal perch works wonders... Good exposure on the whites and good balancing act from the spoony
