This was taken end of June while out on boat. Since getting out at sunrise, it was a greenie morning. C&C welcome. Thanks.

Hi Cathy, nice capture - excellent action! I would consider removing the one branch on the right of the frame that is at a 45-degree angle. Would also suggest bringing up the exposure level. What did you spot meter on? Your metering left you in the dark on this one.

Hi Cathy- This is a beautiful image. I really like the lighting on the bird. The image shows good action with a clear story told. The landing site is a little ugly but it is what it is. The bird looks a little soft but in this case it almost adds to the "look and feel" of the image. However, I would try another round of sharpening on the bird.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't know how the exposure got so out of whack; however, I adjusted it some and removed some of the branches.

Cathy, excellent repost! The levels look perfect now and the gardening really helped. Good show!

What a great "in flight" pose. Great timing on this one!

Love the saturated look of the shot Cathy and the way you've frozen the moment, if anything I'd tone down your sig on the shot, maybe bottom right and smaller?
