Spectacular bird, beautifully captured. Comp, perch, BG, exposure, focus -- all spot on. Congratulations!

Hi Craig, a lovely shot, love these birds colours. Great to see him looking at the flowers on top, makes a very intresting composition. If you have more of the flowers, it may work even better TFS

Neat pose and colours. BG looks great. I'd prefer less canvas below, and more above, including more flowers if you have it. The perch and legs are very sharp, but the face and throat seem to be suffering from slight subject movement blur.

Thanks for the comments... I got lucky with this baby :-)
Daniel - have re-posted the image, showing more of the LH corner detail... I may have cropped it a little too central ??
More sharpening applied to throat area too

Re-post is a big improvement over an already fine image. Never saw on so thanks for sharing.

The sharpening on the repost is much better! I still would prefer less canvas at bottom, but well done overall.

Craig, lovely colours on this sunbird, and I like the way he is looking towards the flowers. Great job on the repost with regards to the sharpening.
