Having never seen these guys on natural perches, I was happy to get this one on a natural (although not ideal) perch. He even gave me a few seconds to get different in-camera comps.
I liked the light and hint of habitat in this one.

    Comment appreciated
    Thanks

Very nice, a bit darker BG would improve an already really good image.
I like the perch, looks natural, I would also maybe darken the bright part of the perch on the
    left side.

A very nice image! Sweet light and pose. Maybe a tiny bit off the top.

Super golden light and IQ. Perch work nicely and like the plain BG TFS

Awesome light and overall golden colours throughout. I suppose the perch isn't the best around, but from the sounds of it it sure beats anything else you've seen this species on!

Great light and very nice details. Nice to see it perched on something other than a wire.

Great color and light! Very sharp as well. Agree about maybe a little off the top.

Hi Sidharth, lovely soft light, and I like the angled pose. Im ok with the perch, and just love the hint of grasses in the BG. Love the yellows and browns to the image.
