    Interesting image and effect, Mitch.

    Like the flood reflection.

While I like it as is, I wonder what more area on the bottom might do to it. Showing at least one full flower???? But very nice work.

Beautiful composition, Mitch. I like it as it is. The bright colors and the sunlight with the reflection makes it compelling composition. Wonderful use of flood. The square crop works well. Nicely done.

Mitch, this image has some very strong elements...incredible job of exposure, color and contrast on the seed center of the right hand blossom..good detail throughout, good use of DOF...the yellows on the right hand blossom, at about 5:00, look too hot to me, and the image might benefit from toning them down...I like the crop, but wish you had a little more of the image on the left side, but that's a matter of personal taste. It would be interesting to see the image extended down further...seeing more reflection...but again, I'm just talking out loud. Nicely done!

Thanks Mark, Indranil, and John. I tried adding more of the reflection, but I felt it was just distracting. I will try John's suggestion of toning some yellows down and see if it works. Also, John, there is no more room on the left to do anything with without distortion.

Mitch, I like the idea of toning some of the sunflower petals down a bit. If it were mine I'd be tempted to crop some of the reflection off, up to the top of where the leaf changes colors. Nice vision for this one and I like your use of the flood filter.

    Denise,

Is this what you were thinking. Perhaps this is a bit too tight? Perhaps not...

Mitch, I think the tighter crop looks good since the flowers are already clipped. I still might tone down the yellow a bit.

Very interesting image. Wih I thought of doing this over the weekend with 10 inches of rain locally.
