    Here is another Green Heron image from a local pond. I added some canvas to the right and top. I also cloned out a portion of a branch. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

    Thats a real beauty Jim, love the locked on feet, it always amazes me how they can hang on so well when the go in after prey. Nice job on all accounts.

    Jim, excellent detail and colours on the heron, and I do like the extreme pose. Love how the claws are wrapped around the perch. Another painted feel to the BG.

    Yes, this is quite well done. Techs are perfect. I love the veggies at the bottom and would wish only for a slightly simpler perch. The bird btw is a moderately worn juvenile.

    Jim, really liked this one. the sharpness, BG, colors, pose....what a shot. I especially like the dof coverage of the perch.
