Quite superb (and sharp). My fave is the one on the left with its beak full of bug. Great wing position on the adult. Tiny damselflies??? Your Yak is a good yak. Where?

Hey Artie, I believe these are tiny Damselflies, I had about 20 or so of them on board the yak with me and on me, they love me Image taken in Kalamazoo, MI about 3 miles from my home.

    Thanks for the kudos!

Love it!! Superb interaction. I'd only tone down the perch a bit in its brightest areas. Very well done

I agree - a gorgeous picture that captures the action well, is well exposed and is full of interest. One of the best I have seen for a long time.

More of the yak-attack. This is quite awesome! I love the frozen in midair adult. This is so hard to do (for me anyway) and you did it! Congratulations.

    Chad:

Great timing, exposure and sharpness. Action really tells the story.

You have been producing some great work from your yak. I always feel like I am going to tip over when I am out, so prefer my little boats, but it is obviously working great for you

    Cheers

Great image Chad! I like the composition, sharpness and interaction. I would tone the perch down a little as well.

Chad, an incredible image....so many good things here...the leftmost( in frame) bird with the food, the contorted position of the other one and then the excellent angle and wing position of the one flying in. Perfect DOF to cover everything that is important. one heck of a shot.
