Okay, I'll give it a shot. My eye naturally wants to land on the grass instead of the bird so I would clone out the clump on the front left side and clip back some of the grass in front of the right wing. Also, I'd boost the contrast a bit on the white bird and the blue water and lower the saturation a bit on all of the grass. I'd also like to see just a bit more room on around the wings.
Man, but that's a funny pose you got! His feet look like he's doing the thumbs up!:D
actually the feet looks like he's popping you the bird!!!!
al, you have a perfect shot of a bird butt!!!! call me artfully challenged, but this one does absolutely nothing for me. i just dont know what else to say that wouldnt be truthful.:D
I agree with the idea of cloning out the clump of grass. Other that that, I think it is a cool picture, especially with the nice lilly pads in the background
I would leave it the way it is Al...:) Very different, and Harold is right that bird is giving you both fingers... If it was saying "HA,HA.. sucker; catch me now":eek:
The whole thing seemed a little washed out / over exposed to me. Butt shots are typically a no-no, but when done right can have strong feelings. This one also has some humor as it really does look like your getting the "social finger salute."
Alfred I love it, just makes me smile. I could see this being used in some off the wall advertising campaign or wall poster. I like the colour on the first image, second is to saturated for my taste. Not to sure about the head angle, a nice over shoulder wink would have been even better.:)
