Simple stunning Rudi - one of your best. Very well timed to get the landing pose, raised wings, and you have nailed the exposure and sharpness.

    Enjoy Mankwe at the weekend.

Rudi, stunning shot. wing position, light, details...well done on all fronts. Can it go a tad brighter? If you have more room up and behind, it will be better.

Amazing image Rudi - many things to love about this shot, most of which are mentioned above. About the only thing I could suggest would be stopping down a bit more next time to get the wing tips in sharp focus (as I doubt you'll need 1/6400s to freeze the action)

Fantastic! Interestingly, this bird has very dark eyes, exactly the way I remember all the PK that I have seen. So there is probably no light brown-eyed mutation in South Africa after all.... Well done for not 'doctoring' the eye!

What a fantastic pose.. would do something with the bg, the right side 1/4 of the image shows signs of adding onto the canvas or something. Maybe run a Gaussian blur on it to help smooth out the line.

Fantastic. I agree with KD's comp suggestion and I see Chad's concern about the BG at right but all else is top-notch!
