Unexpected find today was this single Barnacle Goose; not found here in my area of the UK so often.
Very much smaller than a Canada with lovely color.
Taken to capture the reserve meadow flowers so I hope you like it

Congrats on the new camera...I've thouroughly enjoyed mine since getting one this spring. Lovely image overall, but I'd go the opposite of Stuart and crop some off the bottom (and at left too). I also wish for a better HA towards us. Exposure looks good, and I quite like the setting.
I like the placement of the bird in the field, and the loose crop allows it to be seen in the context of the flowery meadow. I agree that the head angle is sub-optimal, and although the dark facial patch is nicely contrasted with the rest of the white face, I don't think the eye itself is visible. There are some purple areas on the bird's shoulder and back - are they reflections of the flowers?
Fortunately I have a nice amount of canvas to play with, and as you know people prefer different crops, so will try both
Any blue patches on chest not from reflections IMO I will reset chest to black as is the norm for this species
As far as the eye goes, I see it clearly but then I see dead people lol -- seriously I will try to enhance a little
I appreciate your input and here is one I made earlier
