Captured this kid on Mount Evans. Tried to include some of the wildflowers as well. Thanks for looking.

Cute fellow. Nice image. Looks like you were at a higher level? Else, I would prefer more space at the bottom than at top. Thanks for sharing.

The light on this little guy is awesome, and I like the very much the perspective, as well as the rocks and wildflowers.

Nicely composed Dan. I like how the downward facing head lines up with the little rocky ridge. Also like the little bursts of yellow flowers throughout.

Dan, Love the light and the pose. The framing is nice too!

Dan - nice light and pose. I like the inclusion of the flowers and environment. I agree that a little more room below would take it up a notch.

    Very 'nice' Dan.

Personally I would move the whole crop down by about half the space above the kid, this to me would help emphasis the 'look down' stance. I also wonder about dropping the Red & Yellow channels just to open up the detail more, with a hint of an S curve in Curves just to like some detail in the fur?

These are certainly commanding the cute factor.

My pleasure Dan, hope it all makes sense.

As I said, be good to know what you think and if things have taken a step forward, or indeed backwards?

    cheers

Lovely pose and exposure here Dan!
Steve - I hear you on the crop, but to me the yellow wildflowers in the BG adds a lot to the scene overall, so for me the presented composition is fine (just another perspective, which is why open forum critique is good ).
Dan, do you have horizontals showing where the kid was looking to?
