    Default Fender Stratocaster

Since BPN has a great forum for friends and family I thought I'd post a photo I took tonight of one of my CLOSEST friends - my Fender Stratocaster.

I rigged up some lighting to take this picture in my living room (no dodging and burning in photoshop). I made sure I set up the angle and lighting so that you couldn't tell that it's a Mexican made Strat as opposed to the superior American setup. I guess I can't complain - Fender has a great sound throughout their entire spectrum of guitars.

    ROCK AND ROLL...Steely Dan style.

Steely Dan you say? My all time favorite band! Won 2 tickets to see them live on VHI "Story Tellers" and many times before and after. Is their gas in the car...yes there's gas in the car.

    Nice one!

I listen to a lot of modern jazz-rock fusion bands...but Steely Dan set the standard. I think the people down the hall know who you are.

Sven, it took me a while to realize that your reply was a link - I just checked it out. Very nice! I love the Epiphone SG model. I believe Blake has one (but not the LE :p). We used to play in a few bands together. Maybe one day I'll embarrass us both and link a song...hahahaha.

That's the first thing that caught my eye... oh that red SG... I love it! Embarrass all you want, but if you're going to link a song with vocals make sure it's one of yours, haha

Yup, nice piece of gear, lightweight compared to the Paulas. Wood and mechanics of that SG are great, only the Pickups are both very Epiphone :o I'll change them to something more Gibson like (if I ever find the time). I used to play in bands too when I was younger, but now I'm only a home-alone player :p The good thing about getting older as a guitar player is, that one can afford better amps :D

    Rock on!
    Sven
