Love the details on your tricolor. Nice blue background. I would crop just a wee bit from the left of the frame to offset your subject, rule of 1/3rd. also clone out the branch to the right; it distracts focus to your bird...:D

See if you like my correction...:) I cropped from the left to offset your subject rule of 1/3rd, cloned out the branch on the right, increased the contrast, increased the color hue, and did a little sharpening...:D:D:D

to have captured any bird other than a vulture at anhinga was a great accomplishment. CONGRATS!! agree with al on this. focal point needs to be on the eye. great to meet you. sure i'll see you around soon.
