Hi, I really like this because the downsweep of the wings gives a kind of energy from which I bounce up into the catchlight in the eye. I know how hard it is to get a downsweep to work and I think you did it. The feet are a little short, but okay. They don't distract me. I am brought up to the eye in this photo consistently from the wingtips. Will you lighten the shadow of the neck on the inside of the wing? Have you considered (and this is not kosher for nature shots) flipping the image horizontally? It may "read" with a different energy that way. Nice blurring of the background and I like the gold tones, too. Dawn

What a beauty of a BKG to go along with a very 3D looking in-flight.. Nice exposure and great detail from nose to toes.

Love the wing position and the angle of the face with the eyes staring into the destination of flight. I love the colors too. My only suggestion would be a slight CCW rotation to straighten the water line.

Well exposed, nice details and colours, and good pose. I find the comp tight though...I'd add canvas if you have it, and even better if you had more blue above!

Excellent flight pose. Great background, exposure and detail. I agree that the composition looks a bit tight. TFS.

I like this a lot Nico, love the pose and exp. I find the sharpness on this one spot on as the last few you have posted have been a touch over sharpened... maybe a bit more room on top.

Hi Nico, great flight posture of a juvie, and you have nailed the exposure and detail. I agree, a little room ontop and bottom wont harm this.
