My second favorite bird (after the LBR) and what a great shot. Love the soft light, the comp and the BG. Perch is slightly overpowering but this is a very minor nit. Lovely image,

Hi Craig, great close up of this colourful fellow, and with a good attentive pose. The light is soft, and I like the smooth BG. Apart from the magenta colours in the BG, I feel there is an overall magenta cast to the image, especially on the perch which gives it away.

Good image overall. I'd crop a bit off the bottom, and there is an easily correctable magenta cast to the image (as per Stuart).

Actually most times overcast works well.
Soft light and colors are pleasant without being too bright.
    This is really nice.
