    I have tried the art of flight photography, and at this stage still very much a learner. Not only is this a bird in flight but a very small and super fast one, great effort. Outstanding detail, I particularly like the colours behind the eye, well done.

    Hi Linda and thank you. To answer your question (and Judy's) I got this shot because of my friend, wind. I set myself up with a strong wind at my back in a grassy knoll by the beach. It was late afternoon and the swallows were out for an early dinner. When they made their turns to come back around to the bug swarm, they got caught up in the wind. Because of the knoll, I was at eye level with them and I still missed most of the shots....
