    Default Red-necked Phalarope

Here is the a shot of the male Red-necked Phalarope which I mentioned on my previous post.
As you can see, this one is not as pretty as the female of the species.
When I took the shot, the sun had gone behind the clouds so I could not get a catchlight.

As part of the post-processing I cloned out the head of a phalarope that was swimming left side of this one and I also did a 2-degree CCW rotation.

Great shot. I like the diffuse light and the wave action.

I love the dof in this. The wave is sharp just at the bird's location, very nice.

Luis, very nice. sharpness, HA, low angle, exposure...pretty much perfect. This also has nice depression in the blurred waved in Fg giving a very clear view. This is what I was referring to in the last shot. When water is choppy, bird is moving up and down and so are the waves in between you and the bird. Always a good idea to fire bursts to maximise chances of that unobstructed view. HA is always tough on phalaropes...you nailed this one.
