Default Perch sharing, Western Bluebird father and juvenile

In July in central Oregon Western Bluebird parents bring their young to water for a drink and a bath. The entire family arrives together and there is often lots of action with several birds landing on the same perch. This juvenile bluebird landed on dad's perch and later was joined by a sibling after dad left.

I cropped 10% from the left and the top of the photo.

Great BG and contrast with the subjects! Image looks slightly overexposed...

Welcome to BPN and your first post. Nice dynamic action here. I wish we had a clearer view of the left bird's head.I agree with Rudi's comments re:exposure. Lovely perch and BG. would love to see a repost with decreased exposure.

Welcome to BPN...This is one fine image but it would have been a great one if you could have captured the head of left bird as suggested above by Gail.
