I thought this lotus blossom was so neat as half the petals had fallen off giving a perfect view of the center. A little vignette to darken the edges, Topaz Adjust, Clean and Detail. (Photo made with my new Canon 7D, it's awesome!)

Lotus flowers are sensational subjects and you have beautiful colours in this image. Glad that you are enjoying your 7D.

Hi Judy...very nice complementary colors in this image and great sharpness! You might consider taking some off the bottom. Nice work!

Thanks Bob! I will see what others say. I agree with you but posted it like that as it's easier to remove some of it than add it

Hi Judy, Well presented. That missing leaf gave you a great shot into the inside of the flower. Beautiful colors and nice complimentary BG.

Very lovely and interesting. The filters gave the image a soft glow that contrasts well with the details of the flower center. Well done.

Judy, Big congrats on the new camera body. This is lovely. The processing is subtle and the flower has a lot of interest esp. w/ that sharp inside! Bob makes a good suggestion regarding a small slice off the bottom.

Thanks Denise! I'm still learning how the camera exposes compared to my other Canon models. Here is a repost with some off the bottom. I like it better.
