    Default Little Green Heron

Stalked this little one for over an hour. Creeping closer and closer as I wedged myself in the lily pads so my kayak would not move. It was so much fun!!

I have never been able to get so close to one. I have some other images of him flipping around a tree branch catching fish but the BG's are so busy.

Nice work with a really hard to get, extremely shy bird. I don't mind the BG, it is where they live.
I would maybe go with a bit larger crop even, I like the water in the foreground.

    Noelle,
This is really good. I love the heron's pose and the environment. Beautiful low angle and I love the comp. A keeper for sure,

Nice image Noelle. I like the low angle and habitat. I followed a couple around last night and was amazed at their skill at catching dragonflies. Look forward to seeing more images.

Great looking bird in his natural environment. Subject is sharp and well exposed with great eye contact. A super IMG !
