Default Recovering deleted images from CF

A friend of mine recently returned from a trip to the Canadian Rockies. While deleting a few pictures from his camera, he accidentally hit 'delete all'. What programs have any of you had success with regarding restoring lost images. Are there any free programs out there that work well? I've tried a couple in the past that worked so-so. He has not used the camera since, but he did take it to the place he bought it and they were not able to recover anything.

San Disk has a recovery program that comes with many of their cards called Rescue Pro I think which works very well. I have used it approx 4x in the last 4 years with 100% success.

First take out the CF and put it in a safe place. Then when you are ready COPY the card to another device either a PC or another hard drive. That way you will be working on a copy and not the original.

Try this software Photo Rescue http://www.datarescue.com/photorescue/

    Good luck

Thanks Marina, Bob, & Paul. I will take a look at those programs and see what works best for me.
    Thanks again for your help.
