    Got lucky one morning on Mt Evans during my recent trip when 3 marmots insisted on posing for environmental shots. It was a highlight of my trip.

    Canon 1D3, Canon 100-400L
    F8, 1/1000sec, ISO 400, manual mode

    I like it very much. I like flowers in animal or bird images. The forground rock might be a little sharp.

    Nice job of showing some of the plant life that grows up there during the all too brief summer. I like the stronger diagonal of the BG rock with a tighter pano crop that just removes the clumps of grass.

    Nice composition, Marina, as you've pulled together the marmot and the beautiful flowers. I like the way the critters nose matches the granite.

    Beautiful Marina! Like the inclusion of the flowers. And they add a nice splash of color.

    Agree with posters above, this is a wonderful habitat shot, nicely composed. Image quality looks good to me too.

    Great find and catch marina. I like the flower and environment as well. He looks ready for a nap
