A little while back, I posted some Yellow-billed Ducks banking in the sky. This is one of the angles we capture as they come onto the water. Taken at a local birding spot in Pretoria.

Superb Stuart, great soft light and IQ. I also like the landing pose and BG.

I love the light and the colors. Great landing pose and I like the dangly feet! I might try to make the eye a little brighter but that is a minor nit,

    Stuart:

Sharp, well exposed, BG colors compliment the bird, really like the feather definition in the tail, the ripples in the water add just enough texture there to be interesting.

    Cheers

Stuart, I love the incoming pose and the fanned tail is nicely lit. As Randy mentions the background has just enough detail for interest!

Excellent image Stuart. I like the fanned tail, sharpness, composition and complimentary BG.

Hey Stuart -- This is a gorgeous incoming shot and the tail fan is just wonderful. Lighting is everything and you have demonstrated it here. Hey, thanks for the new avatar....face with a name and all that. Now I feel like I really know you after these last few years. Take care.
