I photographed this cooperative bird last week, when we were having a bit of a break from our crummy weather here.
It appears to be a bird that is just coming into breeding plumage.

I like the pose and careful framing Might want to increase contrast just a bit for more pop !!! Not sure if you could have altered the angle to eliminate the blending rocks on the bg? I like it a lot !!!
