    I could spend days shooting church interiors in France. Many of them have organs and I thought this one was a bit different and well framed...

    Hi Dave;

    Technically, it's a wonderful shot...you nailed the exposure, did a good job bringing out detail in the shadows, and I like the treatment you gave the image, particularly on the pipes in the organ. I wish I could see more, particularly to the left and to the right, to give it more of that spacious grandeur you see in many of the old churches. Nicely done!

    Dave, nice detail and color. I like the way the pipes are converging toward the heavens, as this is an integral part of the design goal when these magnificent instruments were made. I like the way the light plays on the right half of the image and not on the left, makes for nice contrasting element.

    Dave, I like seeing images which show the contrasting materials of the old and the new. This has good strong compositional features which draw the eye to the organ pipes. I would love to see some close ups of the beautiful wood and stones contrasted to the metallic sheen of the pipes. So many possibilities with these old buildings. What a wonderful and richly rewarding trip you had.

    Hi Dave, this is fabulous. Love the details in the comp. Love the stone-work on the ceiling.

    Beautiful, Dave. I love old churches - so much character. The lighting in this is what really struck me.

    Hey Dave,
    The colors really pop and the details are very nice1 I might tweak this per Kerry's observations.....tkae the cyan/blue off the LH side a bit....add red, yellow, and perhpas a toucch of gree.....just color correct the one area to closer match the warmer tone on the RH side. All in all a very nice comp and the small tweak will make it shine!
