Really lovely portrait JAck. Love the pose, the head angle, the BG. All of bird looks sharp. I would be interested to see the bird a little higher in the frame. but then you might lose the nice bokeh up top.
I think I might see some evidence of cloning in lower right corner? Might want to redo that as it looks unnatural.
All around wonderful image of this sweet little chickadee.

Oh and of course now I see your mention of the cloning, sorry I missed that.

Birdy looks great, sharp from head to tail. I might darken the blacks just a point or two, but I'm not on my calibrated monitor so take that with a grain of salt. Point noted regarding the cloning, and personally I might examine the composition as all that space up on top doesn't seem needed. (And I note that this is a far nicer chick-a-dee image than any in my files!)

Very nice clean smooth plumage Carolina(harder to find than you think) !
I would take some off the top of the image unless you are saving that for a Mississippi Wildlife cover !

Good suggestions from Grace to further enhance your image. Congrats on obtaining this little guy; small birds are challenging.

Thank you all. That was some sloppy cloning in the lrc.
