Nice! I really like the interaction here with the bird spreading the thistle seeds. Is this a setup?

Great shot!!! Really like the perch and the head angle on the bird. Great timing and nice action captured. Well done.

    Hi Jim,

This is lovely! I find the image to be sharp and well exposed. The vertical composition displays the both the perch and birds very nicely. The thistle seeds blowing in the the wind make this image shine in my option. Very well done! Thanks for sharing.

    Regards,

    Phil

Way to go Jim, this is very good. The yellows and whites are perfect, the BG is perfect and the composition is pleasing. I am enjoying looking at this.

Goldfinches love thistle, and this image depicts the behaviour perfectly. Excellent comp, techs. Super!

That is the kind of shot I would love to get.
"Bird on a stick" plus interaction with habitat. Love the way the bird and thistle are in focus and the 2 tone background adds to overall composition.

Jim, this is just gorgeous! Techs covered by others. I love the action of the wind here, and that this was in the wild.

Beautifully captured, Jim. This is an image I've seen a hundred times, but never been able to capture nearly as nicely as this. All techs handled nicely; comp lovely; and thistle in the wind a bonus.

Love the thistle fluff! It really helps to make the pic.
