    It did not give me a head turn but I still like it for the background and the sharp and colourful beak.

    NIce smooth background. Exposure looks great, wish the light was a bit softer and other than the head turn you already mentioned, I wish we could see more of the far wing (preferably) or none at all.

    Beautiful shot. You are right the background is lovely. Real nice flight pose. You already mentioned the head angle but other than well done.

    I like the background and the flight pose. Good self critique. I agree with James that a softer light would have been nice but, you did well given the light you had. Thanks for sharing.

    SHarp with nice details. Looks to me that slightly too much S/H was applied which gives the image a somewhat un-natural look.

    Yes, I was somewhat aggressive with the S/H tool.
    Sometimes I like the "pinterly" look it creates in the background.
