    40D, Canon 100-400@300mm, 1/250 f 7.1, ISO 400. This is a young eagle just about ready to fly. It is the second from the nest.
    It stays in the nest and jumps up and down, flapping its wings and screaming for more food. It also makes a mess on my deck. It
    should fledge any day now.

    Sounds like you've had a lot of fun watching this eagle grow up. Composition is a little tight for my tastes. Needs more room on the right. Might look good as a horizontal image?

    I hate to be harsh and I don't get many comments on my photos here, but this looks like an I-phone photo at best.
    I like the setting and the environment, but it looks like your lens was fogged up or something.

    Great pic. I really like the stare in the eagle. A little tight in the frame and seems a little foggy.
