Sometimes I have to learn to be a bit more attentive...never had to be at the back of the class....
I thought this weeks theme was Flight....so I work on this image, then I read that this weeks theme was Birds in Flight...
Ok here it is anyway...used motion blur on the background, of a crop dusting plane image taken out on the prairies, I left the plane left of centre on purpose to give the sense of almost missing him, giving it a sense of speed..
This pilot was moving along at about 100 mph, 10 feet off the ground.

Alright Paul, This is too funny! I love it. You really made a great looking image and your pano crop works very well here.

Paul, hope you didn't get in the breeze from this guy... I like the motion and the bright yellow of the plane. Very cool! I love the sound they make when they go by this low.

Very nice! As Kerry mention the bright yellow of the plane really draws your attention and you get a great sense of speed with the blur, love the comp as well.

Your title caught my attention and your post made me laugh, Paul. Glad you posted it anyway. Very nice work applying the motion blur filter effect to the b/g to convey the sense of speed. Like the color of the plane against the b/g and the area of sky you left in. Good job!

I love this one, Paul! Sense of motion is very well captured... yellow on green bg makes it stand out very well. Nicely done.

    Hey Paul,
Great comp and the colors and pano crop work perfectly here! I like the sense of motion captured...with enough sharpness in the plane to make a nice focal point. The smoke trail puts it over the top for me!
