    Default Brooklyn & Manhatten Bridges

Late yesterday afternoon I went with my friends Susan and Anthony Candelario to photograph bridges. It was a perfect evening and we had a great time. I shot this as a 2 image pano and had little distortion. Applied Filter Forge Fractalicious(mac users can now take advantage of it) and a small mount of PB. To top everything off at the end of the evening they had an unexpected fireworks display. Great night!!

    Hi Dave,
Very good work stitching the pano together as well as the comp. I like the deep rich colors and the slight effect of the filter very much. BTW Filter Forge is for both PC & Mac users alike. Nice job and we too enjoyed the evening as well.

Fireworks!!! What a great surprise. I have been here many times myself and always love these shot. Lots of potential in this area. This is one of the nicest shots I have seen in a while. Love the comp. and color. Nice processing as well.

Nice one Dave, I really like the glowing reflections of light on the water. How do you find the plugin you mentioned at Filter Forge? I went to the site and searched on "fractalicious" and "fract" and found nothing.

Love the comp, colours and treatment! I'm so happy to hear about the filter but like Kerry I need to know where to find it ;-)

    Hi,
I am sure Dave will reply later when he is around, but just thought I would post the link to the particular filter: http://www.filterforge.com/filters/search.html?q=fractalitious&h=r
Filter Forge is loaded with tons of other cool effects. I like it so much that I became an affiliate and have contacted the company in order for me to be able offer the entire percentage of the commission they give as a full discount code for those who wish to purchase it. Will have the info up in my blog soon.

Hi Susan, glad you posted the info. The sheer quantity of filters intrigued me and I had to dive in.Very nice of you to offer the commission as part of the discount. Not many folks would do that.

Wonderful panorama, Dave. Nicely stitched. What was your original exposure?

    Hey Dave,
Very cool use of the filters! Nice that you got both bridges with the jewels and sunbursts! Isn't f/22 grand! A great choice on the pano crop too....accentuates the length of the bridge and keeps the sky.....minimized. Exposure looks right on too....so a bit disappointed I couldn't join you both! Great idea on the stitch....so very nicely done!

I love the lights and reflections, very festive looking! Creating a pano was a good idea and it looks like it joined perfectly.
