Default Black Bellied Whistling Duck # 2

I posted this guy a little while back and stated in my previous post that I had wished for a better wing position. This is 2 frames before my previous post and guess this may be the best of the sequence. Taken early morning at a local birding spot in Pretoria. These guys are not from around here, so either got lost, or are escapee's from someone. There were about 10-12 of them. I have been back since to hopefully have captured a better shot, but they have unfortunately moved on.

Beautiful light and colours! BG complements the bird beautifully! Would try to get some more detail on the dark right wing.

Beautiful capture Stuart...the moving BG feel makes it look interesting...nice light as well...I wish the wing in dark had more details as suggested by Ofer.

Wow, excellent flight shot. It looks very sharp even though it was shot at 1/800s.
Great light and exposure on the whites. As Ofer said, the background tones go really well with this bird.

These guys are very photogenic. Lucky people who live in Texas, they can find them all the time I guess.
Great picture Stuart, I really like it. The repost is an improvement.

Beautiful colors, the BG is just spectacular on it's own.
The repost is better, nice job on the far wing.

Stunning image, Stuart. Gorgeous light, bg and details.
I love how the head stands out even more against the dark far wing.
    Nice work as always.
