Pelicans processed with Topaz simplify. Sky dropped in from another photo. Those of you who saw my previous Pelican post will recognize the sky.

Hi Michael. Cool image. Love the sky and the Pelican formation. A few tweaks to consider.....the pelicans could use a bit of contrast and a few have a halo effect. Otherwise, I like it.

Beautiful work, Michael. Love the repost. The sky looks awesome along with those simplified pelicans. Nicely processed.

Good repost. A creative match between the dynamic clouds in the sky and the more simplified pelicans.

Hi Michael, I really like the effect work and look you got with this one. The repost does look cleaner. The sky is a little crowded for my eye and I would love to see one without the overlapping of the birds on the right and bottom. Not suggesting that you try to change this image, just sayin'...

Thanks for the comments. I agree that the overlap is not ideal, but it's a lot of birds to capture all separately - more than my capability I would say. Anyway, for me I think that the large number of pelicans is a big part of the appeal, and I would hate to remove any of them.

    Hey Michael,
With that flock of birds.....almost impossible to not get overlap!!!! I like the contrast in the repost and do recognize the sky! It is always a good idea to take sky images for uses like this!
