    Joel,

    Love images that show habitat and environment. This is very peaceful and tells a simple story. Almost feels like I'm there - love the solo Pelican silhouette.

    Joel, this looks really nice with the amazing colors reflected in the water. In fact, I like the water so much that I would crop from the top enough to put the water line on the upper third line. You have a tiny bit of halo around the pelican, probably from sharpening. Good placement of the bird in the frame. Very nicely done, I like it a lot.
