    Default Northern Gannet in Flight

I like this picture. It shows a little bit of water and the sky with nice white clouds.
I have been reorganizing my pictures, (just had a 2T HD installed) and have been having hard time to find the exif file.
Let's pu it this way; it might take fifteen minutes to find it and you might not be interested in seeing it anyway.
    Thanks for looking.

Nice and level with good detail of whites. Great sharpness and good look at blue eye .
Forward wing looks slightly awkward in relationship to the other.
Any more in this series since you locked on him so well ?

    Karl,
I think this is your nicest gannet shot so far. The BG is lovely and I like the wing position. I am on the fence about leaving the water in or out- it is a bit distracting but I can live with it! The bird is tack sharp which is great and the exposure is right on with good deatails in the whites and blacks.

Karl, I do like the water in this. And the cloud line that isn't clipped. very nice blue color, placement of the subject and exposure. A full down wing position would have made this even better.

Beautiful capture and composition, Karl, almost looks like a painting!

Nice feel to this. Love the far wing, but not so much the near one. Wish the head wasn't angled away.

It took 5 seconds to find the embedded exif...added it for you

    Thanks Daniel.
Yes, I wished for a better wing position but this was the best among the three consecutive shots.
It is funny. I might even have the software that you used (I have Opanda IExif 2.3)
but it never just crossed my mind.

Karl, I like the overall setting here, and good to see the whites of the Gannet popping from the white cloudy BG. I can see why you left the space at the top, ( not to cut off the shape of the cloud )

I feel this would work just as well with a touch off the top, and removing the sea at the bottom. Just a thought.

Love the overall feel but the HA is an issue for me.
