What a handsome bird and great alert pose! I do find the bird too tight in the frame though, and think that it's a bit out of focus. As if perhaps focal point was more towards the rear of the bird. How much of a crop is this? If you were this close you may have needed to go for a smaller aperture than 7.1. I'm also seeing a strange yellow glow/halo esp around the crest of the bird--but also on feet and tail. Can you write something about your post-processing?

Nice bird and nice position captured, but I find it way too tight. I t would be easy to add some canvas if you agree.

Beautiful bird with a nice perky pose and it looks like it may have been on a nice perch. Cropped much too tight, and the IQ/lack of contrast makes it look like it was photographed through a (dirty) window.

These are beautiful birds and yours has a great pose and perch.

To me it looks like you cut it out of another background. Especially around the head area. The IQ is weak.

I'm sorry but to me, that bird doesn't look real. It looks like it's stuffed.
