Photographed a few months ago alongside BPN'er Nick Palmieri. Triple water drops colliding inside a soap bubble. This is actually a first frame capture when I placed the soap bubble in the water surface. Used the Time Machine, plain water and different water soluble ink colors for each drop.
MIII, ISO 800, f/32, 100mm, 1sec, & 2 Canon strobes. Did basic RAW conversion and cleaned up a few strays in PS. Cropped to a pano.








The actual collisions take place around 3-4 ms (thousandth of a second) so your timing has to be pretty much dead on.
