    Here is the next frame of my last post of the Bronzed Cowbird displaying in the air. I find the first post more unique but like this one as well, although I would have liked the bird's right wing to be more prominent.

    Canon 1D3, Canon 400 DO & 1.4 @ 560mm
    F5.6, 1/1250sec, ISO 640, manual mode
    Feisol tripod, Mongoose head, shot in vertical

    Agree about the r-wing, but man you nailed both of these shots... Great black detail and look at them eyes pop!

    Marina, its always difficult to follow up in a sequence from a previous successful image. I do like the tucked in legs, good job on the blacks, and as in the previous image, those red eyes just pop so, so well.

    This is a great pose as well, with wonderful detail and drama, but your first pic is the one that really takes my breath away.

    Another beauty SM. Nice capture. Not sure if I'd like the wing in focus better or not. This way it does draw attention to the red eyes and that is a nice element. You do a real nice job with these itty bitty sissy birds that don't attack and eat other animals.
