Another one I got in Broome Western Australia last week. The red-brown area at the BG is the outback Aussie sand and the blue is water as it was taekn on the beach.

Love the crop, head angle and bkg. I would consider toning down the white area on the beak a tad. Fantastic shot considering the 2x was used.

Made an overlay layer @ 50% gray, sampled a medium yellow spot on the beak and painted in using 10% brush over the lighter areas.

Another razor sharp image! The BG is great and I don't mind the layer intersecting the head because the line is soft and diffuse. Nice comp,

Ofer, I like how you have cropped the heron, enough to make it work as a portrait. Tack sharp, good HA, and excellent job on the exposure. The two tone BG works very well,
although more of the brown extending into the image would have been better for me.

Beautiful portrait, nice and sharp with terrific BG. Good comments and repost above, but love it just as posted.

Ofer, details, HA, exposure, the curves, light, BG...what a shot. I love such portraits. My personal preference would be a little more( not much) room at the top. As presented, I feel the top of the head is a little too close to the frame....the color there is great..some more room there will let us see more of it.

Nice colours and sharpness, and I like the two-tone BG. I wish the dark shadow wasn't as pronounced, but not an image killer.
