    Default Juvenile Spotted Sandpiper pt.2

After the suggestions and wonderful feedback on my last post of this little SS, I spent a bit more time on PPing this image, Ran it through "OnOne Photo Tune" (used a copy of the original and set the layer to 50% of what the plugin came up with) Took a few highlights out ran NR on the bkg, selectively painted a smidgin of yellow over the legs using a overlay layer set at 50% gray. about a 50% crop of original image.

Any thoughts? good or bad I like them both

You're killing me. This is wonderful. Beautiful bird, great habitat, feather adds whimsy, processing looks top notch, colors rich and vibrant.

Looks fantastic! If anything maybe just a tiny bit more room top and sides and saving as sRGB. Great work!!

I agree on a bit more at the top, but the processing is great.

Thanks for the comments and the re-post gals and guys

Ofer, I looked at the image and it shows on my end it is indeed in sRGB color space I have plenty of room around the image and like your crop.

Have a look somewhere in this forum there is a good discussion about the sRGB issue. If you don't save it properly it won't be presented as sRGB as is in this case. I use IE and your OP looks flat as if it wasn't saved as sRGB. When I open it in photoshop it tells me the colour space is Adobe RGB 1998.
I will try to find the right thread.

Chad, good sharp detail captured, and I like the slight leaning pose. The BG is nice and colourful. Im going to be the odd one out and say that I find the feather a touch distracting. As its white against a darker BG, it draws my eye.

A beauty, Chad. Great pose, exposure, PP work. Another vote for the feather, and for some room on top.

I checked in PS5 and the assigned profile (source space) is sRGB, when you save as, you can embed this profile by checking a box, I did not do that but did try doing that, resaved and then opened in FF and it looked the same as shown in the OP... PS what is IE anyway is that the same as Netscape Navigator
